Locvia Technologies · Last updated: July 2026

This Policy explains how Locvia receives, reviews, and acts on reports of content or conduct that may violate our Terms & Conditions, Community Guidelines, or Marketplace & Services Policy — across both the Marketplace and Local Services — and describes the actions we may take, including warnings, suspension, and permanent termination, as well as your right to appeal.

02

1. How to Report

You can report a listing, Service Request, chat, job, or user profile directly within the app using the "Report" option available from the relevant screen's menu. When reporting, please select the most accurate reason and provide any additional detail that will help our review. You may also report a technical issue or a concern not covered by in-app reporting tools by contacting us at hello.locvia@gmail.com.

03

2. What Happens After You Report

Reports are logged with a timestamp, the reporting user, the reported user or content, and the stated reason, and are queued for review. We prioritize reports involving suspected harm to minors, threats of violence, unsafe conduct during a home service visit, and fraud above lower-severity reports such as spam or listing accuracy disputes. We do not guarantee a specific response time for every report, but we aim to review high-severity reports as a priority.

04

3. Evidence Preservation

Where a report suggests a serious violation (including suspected fraud, harassment, unsafe conduct, or content involving minors), we may preserve associated account information, listing or Service Request content, job records, and chat messages beyond our standard retention period described in our Privacy Policy, for the purpose of investigation, potential law enforcement referral, or legal proceedings.

05

4. Enforcement Actions

Depending on the nature and severity of a violation, and whether it is a first-time or repeated offense, Locvia may take one or more of the following actions at its sole discretion:

  • Removal of the specific listing, Service Request, message, or content.
  • A formal warning to the account, which may be recorded against the account's history.
  • Temporary suspension of the account, restricting the ability to post listings or Service Requests, register as a Service Provider, send messages, or access certain features.
  • Reduced visibility or temporary deactivation of a Service Provider's ability to receive new Service Requests, for issues specific to service conduct (see Section 5).
  • Permanent termination of the account and forfeiture of any associated trust score, rating, points, or badges.
  • Referral to law enforcement or relevant regulatory authorities, where required by law or warranted by the severity of the conduct (for example, suspected CSAM, credible threats of violence, unsafe conduct during a home visit, or large-scale fraud).
06

5. Service-Specific Conduct We Track and Act On

In addition to the general violations described in our Community Guidelines, the following conduct specific to Local Services is monitored and may result in enforcement action:

  • No-shows: a Service Provider repeatedly failing to attend after accepting a Service Request or having a Quote accepted. Each reported no-show is recorded against the provider's account.
  • Price manipulation: a Service Provider requesting a price change without a genuine change in job scope, or pressuring a Customer to accept a higher price outside the in-app price change request feature. Repeated price change requests on a provider's account are tracked and may trigger review.
  • Bad-faith cancellations: a Customer repeatedly cancelling jobs after a Service Provider has already traveled to the location, or repeatedly rejecting reasonable price change requests without cause.
  • Misrepresented qualifications: a Service Provider claiming licenses, certifications, or experience they do not hold.
  • Unsafe or unprofessional conduct during a home visit, including harassment, theft, or property damage.
07

6. Severity Tiers

As a general guide (not an exhaustive or binding schedule), Locvia treats content involving child sexual abuse material, credible threats of violence, human trafficking, weapons/explosives sales, or theft/harm during a home visit as requiring immediate permanent termination without prior warning. Fraud, harassment, hate speech, price manipulation, and repeated policy violations typically result in warnings followed by escalating suspension for repeat conduct. Minor issues such as listing inaccuracies, a single no-show, or first-time spam typically result in content removal and a warning. Locvia reserves full discretion to escalate or de-escalate any enforcement action based on the specific facts of a case.

08

7. Account Suspension and Termination

A suspended account may have limited access to features (such as posting, messaging, or receiving Service Requests) while remaining able to view content, unless the suspension is total. A terminated account will lose access to the Service, and associated listings and Service Provider status will be removed from public view. Where termination follows a user-initiated account deletion (as opposed to enforcement action), the 30-day recovery window described in our Privacy Policy applies; enforcement-related terminations for severe violations may be immediate and non-recoverable.

09

8. Appeal Process

If you believe an enforcement action was taken in error, you may submit an appeal by emailing hello.locvia@gmail.com with your registered phone number, a description of the action taken, and any information supporting your appeal. We will review appeals in good faith, but reserve the right to uphold our original decision, particularly in cases involving severe violations such as CSAM, credible threats, confirmed fraud, or safety incidents during a home visit, where our decision is final.

10

9. Law Enforcement Cooperation

We cooperate with law enforcement and regulatory authorities where required by applicable law or where we have a good-faith belief that cooperation is necessary to prevent harm, as described further in our Privacy Policy, Section 12. This may include disclosure of account information, listing or Service Request content, job records, or preserved chat messages in response to valid legal process.

11

10. False Reports

Submitting knowingly false or malicious reports against another user is itself a violation of our Community Guidelines and may result in enforcement action against the reporting account.

12

11. Changes to This Policy

We may update this Policy as our moderation tools and processes evolve, including with the introduction of automated content detection, AI-assisted moderation, or Service Provider verification tiers in the future. Material changes will be communicated through the app.
